Ellie
Retired Clinic Cat and Supervisor
After 12 years of clinic life Ellie has earned her retirement and is now enjoying being at home with our Practice Manager Renee and her family. Ellie would stay with Renee on and off when needed during holiday periods so has quickly made herself at home with the family.
Ellie loved meeting everyone and will be missed around the clinic by all but as she gets older she was finding more difficult to navigate clinic life. We will still see her from time to time when she comes in for a visit.
Ellie originally came to us as an orphan at 2 days old in 2011 and was hand raised by our nurse Sara. During this time Ellie was a regular visitor to the hospital and we all fell in love with her and her wonderful personality. This is when we decided to trial her as our clinic cat, which she passed with flying colours.
Ellie now spends most of her days lazing around, supervising her household, going for walks in the garden on her harness and she will still occasionally give Renee the odd nibble on the chin like she did during her time in clinic.
