There are many situations were seeking support from a veterinarian, or a qualified trainer can be highly beneficial if you’re concerned about your pet’s behaviour.

Southcoast Animal Hospital offers both veterinary behaviour consultations and one-on-one behaviour training consultations to provide comprehensive support for you and your pet throughout your behaviour journey.

Dr Lizzie and Jenny work closely together to create a balanced intervention plan that addresses the underlying causes of behavioural concerns while teaching alternative behaviours and building effective coping strategies. This collaborative approach helps improve your pet’s wellbeing and quality of life.

All our management strategies and training techniques are fear free and non-punishment based.

We can help with:

  • Fearful conditions such as panic attacks, separation distress and noise and thunderstorm phobias.

  • Dogs and cats who behave aggressively towards people or other animals

  • Spraying or inappropriate urination
