Amanda Lokan

Veterinary Nurse - Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing, Extended Certificate in Surgical Nursing.

Amanda joined our team in 2018.  She her veterinary nursing career in April 1998.  She completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE and then continued her studies to complete an Extended Certificate in Surgical Nursing.

After 20 years at a previous hospital, Amanda decided it was time to explore something new, and is feeling excited to be offered a veterinary nursing position here at Southcoast Animal Hospital.

Whilst Amanda enjoys every part of nursing, what she enjoys most is surgical nursing.  Amanda always strives to ensure that every patient is treated with the upmost care and love, as she knows they are all very important members of someone's family.

When She get the chance, Amanda loves going away in the family caravan with her husband and two kids, exploring new places and making memories. She also enjoy bushwalking and spending time with friends.

At home, Amanda has a Miniature Schnauzer named Millie and a 19 year old cockatiel named Mikey.
