Ultrasonography

 

Ultrasound allows us to image organs in the abdomen in more detail than x-rays. Ultrasound can image many organs including the liver, gall bladder, spleen, bladder and kidneys. It can also be used to assess the reproductive tract and detect pregnancy or problems with the uterus such as pyometra (infection of the uterus).

Ultrasonography is a helpful and important tool for disease diagnosis and effective treatment.
